In order to develop mechanisms for mutual recognition of professional competence of auditors, admitted to conducting audit activity in Ukraine and Poland, as well as to establish communication for further cooperation in the field of attestation of auditors, a working meeting of representatives of the competent authorities of Ukraine and Poland was held on 04 May 2022.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Poland and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Audit Public Oversight Body, the Polish Audit Oversight Agency (PANA), the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors (PIBR) and the Examination Commission.
Participants of the meeting exchanged information on the principles of national legislation regulating the process of attestation of auditors, construction and organisation of internal processes of attestation/certification of auditors, as well as existing mechanisms for recognition of professional competence of auditors admitted to perform audit activity in third countries.
As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to begin working out mechanisms for mutual recognition of the professional competence of auditors admitted to conducting auditing activities in Ukraine and Poland, as well as to start establishing communication for further cooperation in the field of quality control of audit services.
We thank our partners and all the Polish people for their steadfast and unwavering support for our state at this difficult time, and we look forward to deepening our bilateral cooperation in the field of auditing.
Together we will win! Glory to Ukraine!
