In connection with the entry into force on January 01, 2023 of the Law of Ukraine dated September 20, 2022 No. 2597-IX “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Improving the Legal Framework for Auditing in Ukraine” (hereinafter – the Law), which amended the Law of Ukraine “On Audit of Financial Statements and Auditing”, the Quality Assurance Inspection of the Audit Public Oversight Body informs:
In accordance with Article 38 of the Law, audit entities annually by September 30 submit to the Audit Public Oversight Body information on the services provided during the period beginning on July 1 of the year preceding the reporting year and ending on June 30 of the current year.
Audit entities that have the right to conduct the statutory audit of the financial statements of enterprises of public interest, annually by September 30, submit to the Public Oversight Body for Auditing Activities summarized information on the provision of audit and non-audit services to enterprises of public interest during the period beginning on July 1 of the year preceding the reporting year and ending on June 30 of the current year.
The first report in accordance with Article 38 of the Law shall be submitted by audit entities to the Audit Public Oversight Body by September 30, 2023, for the period beginning on January 1, 2022, and ending on June 30, 2023.
This information is sent by the audit entities to the Audit Public Oversight Body through the electronic cabinet in electronic form in compliance with the requirements of the legislation on electronic documents and electronic document management in the form and in the manner approved by the Audit Oversight Board.
Accordingly, the Report of the audit entity on the services provided (Form No. 1-audit (annual)) for 2022 is not prepared and submitted.
The Report of the audit entity on the services provided (form No. 1-audit (annual)) for 2021 is prepared and submitted to the Audit Chamber of Ukraine.
